About Us

Palestinian Animal League (PAL)

The Palestinian Animal League (PAL) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit animal protection organization working in the West Bank, Palestine since 2011. PAL was established by a group of animal lovers who were determined to make a difference in the lives of both humans and animals in Palestine. Since its establishment, PAL has grown into a leading voice for animal protection in Palestine, working tirelessly to improve animal welfare through education, legislation, and rescue work.

The Palestinian Animal League’s mission is to help animals by empowering people. PAL believes that if we, as humans, strive to be the best version of ourselves by practicing compassion and kindness in our everyday lives, such behaviors would unquestionably lead to better animal welfare in Palestine. Thus PAL believes that its role is to inform, educate, persuade, and inspire people to live more kindly and compassionately.

PAL’s work focuses on lobbying for animal rights and advocating for compassionate living.
